Telecommunication, Construction and
Infrastructure enabling Internet access in secondary schools in order to
facilitate the electronic education in schools in an exercise that will take
two years.
As part of the agreement, the ministry identifies and
provide a list of schools without laboratories computer so linked as well to
guide the implementation of the project while Tigo can guarantee the
development of infrastructure in schools in including connecting cables inside
the classrooms and installing wireless ( LAN) and centers that meet the
Internet.
As he signed the agreement in the High School
Wilderness in Dar es Salaam, Chief Commercial Tigo, Shavkat Berdiev, said,
"Through our Department of community service we are now implementing the
government's vision to transform the country to the knowledge-based economy in
the understanding by in 2025 our company organized to ensure most secondary
schools in Tanzania are accessible by the Internet.
