Your dream come true

No one is made perfect. We all have our ups and downs. Our greatness and weaknesses. But we are all made into pairs. We have that one person so as named to be 'your dream come true'.
.

Something we all need to remember is that anyone can be ‘your dream come true’ when you first meet them. You have no past with them. They have a clean slate. They are on their best behavior. They are observing you. Finding out what you like and what you don’t. That’s how they filter what they show you. It’s all surface. It is. It’s what they allow you to see. Its human nature… we all do this upon meeting people. This is why it’s important to soak a person in before you attach yourself to them for life and include them in your future. Too often we are crestfallen when we watch relationships fall apart that started out magically💑. We say people ‘change’ but the reality is they are who they always were. We just didn’t get to know them deeply enough.

So don’t rush… and don’t pile fairy tale attributes upon someone who seems to say all the right things. They are telling you what you want to hear, at first. Give it time and watch the mask fall, and if they look the same, hold on… don’t let go. If they are different and still feel that they are important to you, then learn to embrace their weaknesses and live with that.

What are we, creatures of habit or creatures of emotions?

What is it that inspires you to do your best work?

Do we live to satisfy our habits or do we live to satisfy our emotions and feelings? Are we creatures of habit or creatures of emotions?

Or are the two things interlinked? We live a habit and follow our emotions.

Mostly it is thought that men are creatures of habits, as they seem to be as hard as rocks. But the truth is they also have emotions and feelings. They also follow emotions. They also get hurt.  They are hard but brittle.
Like a glass they break easily.

Women are thought to be creatures of emotions. It is said that, when dealing with women… you should not play with their feelings as they are creatures of emotions. They look with their hearts and love with their eyes. They are soft hearted. That’s their nature.

Let us not forget that women are also creatures of habit as men. The difference is they get too emotionally attached to the habits.

Now, if we humans are driven by emotions. In facts our reactions, lifestyle, etc. are purely emotional.   And since it biases our thinking, we need rational tools to help us. That is when logic gets to play its part. We should think logically and practice empathy.

When it comes in discussing an argument for instance. Often a person make the mistake of being logical in discussion without understanding the mood of the other person. This invites problems. If you practice empathy and try to feel other people’s emotion, then you can win the argument.

Thus when dealing with people, remember you are not dealing with creatures of habit and logic, but rather they have emotions too.
