Your dream come true

No one is made perfect. We all have our ups and downs. Our greatness and weaknesses. But we are all made into pairs. We have that one person so as named to be 'your dream come true'.
.

Something we all need to remember is that anyone can be ‘your dream come true’ when you first meet them. You have no past with them. They have a clean slate. They are on their best behavior. They are observing you. Finding out what you like and what you don’t. That’s how they filter what they show you. It’s all surface. It is. It’s what they allow you to see. Its human nature… we all do this upon meeting people. This is why it’s important to soak a person in before you attach yourself to them for life and include them in your future. Too often we are crestfallen when we watch relationships fall apart that started out magically💑. We say people ‘change’ but the reality is they are who they always were. We just didn’t get to know them deeply enough.

So don’t rush… and don’t pile fairy tale attributes upon someone who seems to say all the right things. They are telling you what you want to hear, at first. Give it time and watch the mask fall, and if they look the same, hold on… don’t let go. If they are different and still feel that they are important to you, then learn to embrace their weaknesses and live with that.
