Son washes his father’s bruised hands, what he finds? I’m in tears!

A young man applied for a job at a large printing company. He passed the first interview and was going to meet the director for the final interview. The director saw his resume and it was excellent.

At the interview, the director asked, ‘have you received a scholarship for school?’

The young man replied, ‘no’.

‘Was it your father who paid for your studies?’ asked the director.

‘Yes,’ replied the young man.

‘Where does your father work?’ asked the director.

‘My father is a Blacksmith,’ replied the young man. The director asked the young man to show him his hands. He showed a pair of soft and perfect hands.

‘Have you ever helped your parents at their job?’ asked the director.

The young man said, ‘never, my parents always wanted me to study and read more books. Besides, he can do the job better than me.’

The director responded,’ I have a request- when you go home today….go wash your father’s hands and then come to see me tomorrow morning.’

As the young man felt his chances of getting the job were high, he decided to agree with him. When he returned home to his house, he asked his father if he would allow him to wash his hands. His father felt strange yet happy and showed his hands to his son. His son washed his hands slowly. It was his first time that he noticed that his father’s hands were wrinkled and had many scars. Some bruises were so painful that his skin shuddered when he touched them.

This was the first time his son recognized what it meant for this pair of hands to work every day…to be able to pay for his studies. The bruises on the hands were the price that his father paid for his son’s education…his school activities and his future.

After cleaning his father’s hands, the young man stood in silence and began to tidy and clean up the workshop. That night, the father and son talked for a long time.

The next morning, the young man returned to the director’s office. The director noticed the tears in the eyes of the young as he asked: ‘Can you tell me what you did and what you learned yesterday at your house?’

The young man replied: ‘I washed my father’s hands and when I finished I stayed and cleaned his workshop. Now I appreciate and recognize that without my parents, I would not be who I am today. By helping my father, I now realize how difficult and hard it is to do something on my own. I have come to appreciate the importance and the value in helping the family.’

The director said, ‘this is what I look for in my people. I want to hire someone who can appreciate the help of others…a person who knows the hardship of others to do things…and a person who does not put money as their only goal in life”. ‘You are hired!’

Children who always get what they want, develop ‘I have the rightmentality…and always put themselves first, ignoring the efforts of their parents. If we are this type of protective parent are we really showing love…or are we destroying our children?

These type of parents may feel like they are showing love to their children but they are actually destroying them. It’s great to give your children a great life, but when you’re washing the floor…or painting the wall, please let the experience that too. After eating, have them wash the dishes with their brothers and sisters.

The most important thing is that your children learn to appreciate your efforts…to experience the difficulties and to learn the ability to work with others to get things done.

HIDDEN WOUNDS.

Satisfying our body desires and needs is what we are doing every day in our life. It might be a blessing to us that our bodies have urges with certain unfortunates, they crave for good food, good fashionable clothing etc. etc.

The brain is believed to be our intelligence center. It stores memories and it does the thinking behavior. Feelings now, come when our mind interlinks with the soul. It is believed by virtue, that the soul is part of human being which is separate with the body. It is abstract. It contains feelings, and also has its needs.

When we get unsatisfied, either the body or the soul or both have been deprived from its need. Then we face some unfortunates. The body now, reacts with physical evidence. We can all recognize when someone is facing hunger strike.

But the soul has its own means of fighting a battle. When someone is depressed, it’s like he is thrown in deep seas to drown, and yet he sees everyone around him breathing. It is difficult to note this, especially when someone fakes a smile to avoid been noted.

Daily in our lives, we fight battles in the silent chambers of the soul. We try to overcome our sorrows, deny ourselves with certain happiness. We have a hurricane of questions with no answers. Unsatisfied emotions and desires. Yet while we fight and try to catch our breaths, get a grip of reality. Some may point the finger judge or jeer with silent boos.

It is said that, not all wounds are visible.  And so, don’t judge people and be kind to everyone you meet because everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Don’t Trip!

God doesn’t give the hardest battles to his toughest soldiers. He creates the toughest soldiers through life’s hardest battles. So, know thy self, know thy enemy and you can fight a thousand battles with victories.

RED FLAME FEB. 14

It is yet another day, but this day seems special to everyone who takes love seriously. Who cares for others, friends, relatives, and lover. It is what is known as Valentine’s Day.

Each one wishes to express a glamour of love to that one special person in his/her life. As sweet words glitter in our mouths during this day, we might also take a moment and thank God for all the people around us. You might be still in pain that you had lost someone special at recent times, but that doesn’t give you enough reasons not to be happy. Check your inbox and there you will realize that there are other people who still care about you and care about your happiness.

As we cherish our moments with our loved ones, Today's youths wishes each one of you Happy Valentine’s Day.

Remember this, when we are upset, disappointed, frustrated, or angry it is difficult to communicate lovingly. When negative emotions come up, we tend momentarily to lose our loving feelings of trust, caring, understanding, acceptance, appreciation, and respect. At such times, even with the best intentions, talking turns into fighting. In the heat of the moment, we do not remember how to communicate in a way that works for our partner or our loved ones or for us.

And in doing so, today might be the best day to stay positive to your partner and your loved ones.

One day in February isn’t special but you are.
Thank you!
Have a blast day!

5 Reasons You Shouldn't Say 'I Do' Without Living Together First

5 Reasons Why Living Together Can Actually Decrease Your Chance of Future Divorce
1. Living together is the ultimate test.
Can your relationship survive the less glamorous aspects of cohabitating? Will you have repeated arguments about dishes and dirty laundry?
Living together is not full of the stuff you see in romantic comedies (it can often seem like The Break Up), and university studies show that believing movies' portrayal of ideal relationships can increase your chance for dissatisfaction in your relationships. Sorry, Bella fans, Edward Cullen is not real. Your love will really be tested.

If you can love each other even after realizing that it's not always going to fun, chances are, you will be in better shape for your marriage.
2. Couples who live together learn about each other and start to form an identity working as a team.

They can learn (or not) how to balance their relationship, careers and even finances together. Through time, the other person's priorities and values will become clear, and couples can see if these really align before putting marriage on the table.

3. When you get into a fight with a significant other who you live with, you can't just walk away and play the "who-calls-first-to-apologize" game.
You go home to the same bed, and getting a hotel room or crashing at a friend's house after every fight just isn't possible 100% of the time. This is where the communication and people skills you learned in college and/or while growing up can really make a difference.

Will you talk it out, or will you just go to bed angry? If you two just can't get along, it's better to learn this now.
4. Your sex life and passion will be tested.
Will you find your man attractive even after he leaves the bathroom door open when he's, um, doing his business? I hate to be the breaker of bad news, but yes, a lot of the mystery is lost if you don't do anything about it. The lingerie that you ripped off last night in a passionate frenzy will be waiting on the floor the next morning, waiting to be sorted into the delicate laundry pile.

There's a reason so many articles point to the importance of not getting "too comfortable." Don't always wear sweats together, get off the couch every once in awhile, go on dates. If you're both willing to consciously keep the flame alive, you're on good footing for a great marriage.

5. As one writer from The Frisky mentioned, furniture shopping can be the beginning of a relationship's demise.
Sharing furniture can be problematic, when personal belongings become "ours" and not "mine." A blended, compromised style will be confusing, please no one and can foster resentment for years.
Co-habitating can shine light on the couples' differences, and help them decide if it's worth reconciling their differences before they get married.

What do you think? Should a couple live together before getting married?
